The sources behind the CSI.
Source-native observations, harmonised components and published snapshot evidence form a traceable research record.
The CSI uses observations from FAOSTAT and World Bank indicators, together with a disclosed model of blue-water scarcity pressure. Source records retain the context needed to interpret those observations and the harmonised components derived from them. Coverage, reporting cadence and revisions may differ between sources. Public availability does not establish redistribution rights, calculation acceptance or production certification; these remain distinct claims within the evidence record. The current index is displayed only when the complete accepted release binds the required evidence together.
