Tracks the FAOSTAT plant-protein share across the target G20 sovereign scope. The 2023 input covers 18 of 19 members; Japan is absent, WLD is excluded and no value is imputed. A rise lifts the sub-index.
Blue-Water Scarcity Pressure Index
Models scarcity-weighted blue-water pressure from animal drinking, farm service water and feed supply chains. Downstream processing is excluded. A measured fall lifts the sub-index; the signal is modelled rather than a uniformly observed national statistic.
